Sojitra is a small town in Anand district of Gujarat. Dabhou, Isnav, Gada, Devataj and Limbali are some of the nearest villages from here. The place is home to many Hindu and Jain temples and attracts devotees all round the year from various parts of the state and India.
Gujarati is the local language spoken here. As per the census of 2011,
city has a population of 16,713 and is inhabited by followers of
different sects and religions .The city has a literacy rate of 87.07%.

Sojitra is located at geographical coordinates of 22°33'North and 72°43'East with an average elevation of 30 meters above sea level. It is located 28 KM from the district headquarters of Anand and 106 KM from the state capital of Gandhinagar. The place lies on the border of Anand district and Kheda district. Sojitra experiences dry climate with average rainfall less than 100meters.

History of Sojitra
Sojitra is an ancient town that has went through many name changes over a period of time. It is believed that the village was originally settled by Sojan Rabari and his family who named it Sojanpur or Sojatypur that later got shortened to Soja and thereby deriving its current name.
